They actually gave CoreCivic a $1 billion windfall due to a 5-year management contract they also received for another $536 million.

He should leave the state of Minnesota right now for being completely disingenuous with his snarky reply. That’s because it was a $420 million dollar windfall profit using our tax dollars to CoreCivic. Full stop. That comment gives him zero credibility to talk about fraud.
