It was a good run I guess, I really wasn’t looking forward to a new ZE either way (ZTD was bad and the story has already ended imo). I’ll still love 999 and somnifiles for how much they have affected me as a person, but I doubt I can support his next game after this.

He only ever slightly mentions the environmental causes for using AI but does not realize how much worse things can get if we all used AI. Like many ppl already do. He writes a good response and I can understand where he is coming from in some level, but it’s still disappointing to read.

Even if he only ever used AI for ”the work no one wants to do” he still supports the technology that steals art from artists, makes children dumber and increases pollution globally. Also, there’s a reason people are _not_ trying to use cars or planes anymore due to their carbon footprint?

I appreciate him being as honest and thoughtful as possible but he continues to avoid considering the fact that we don’t _need_ AI and in this world situation, building more data centers to support the use of AI is only going to destroy livelihoods further and enhance climate change.
