I roamed round Dunorlan Park hoping to pick up something uncommon. Goosander wasn’t on my radar but two redhead types went over as did two Rook, my first here for a year or so. Chiffchaff down to one bird now and, apart from Woodpigeons, little vizmig. #KentBirding #TunbridgeWells

Another day of predominately seawatching from the Fishing Boats provided good views of both Leach's Petrel and Grey Phalarope. Otherwise 637 Little Gulls moving west and nearly 4000 Starling arriving in off the sea providing the numbers. #kentbirding

Back from the AGM of the European Butterflies Group held yesterday in Birmingham. Great to catch up with so many old friends, and to hear updates on survey work being done on some imperilled species. As always, a terrific exchange of news and insights.
