Speaking personally from an artist's perspective, one of the most demoralizing things about AI (and is touched upon by this video) is the complete lack of community from AI users. I can safely say that a lot of AI artists have no interest in the arts beyond it's most surface level enjoyment.
Show PostIt is the most pettiest community of "artists" I've ever met who get insulted from the mere disinterest in being a part of them. They celebrate how much they can screw over other artists, going after those who even go the extra-mile in establishing sites where the point is to NOT get scraped.
Show PostAnd they try to wash it all under the veneer of "community", the idea that "we're altogether as creatives under the shared human experience" yet it's very convenient how much of that is under their benefit. They don't care, and when the masks come off they make that point very clear in how much so.
