Anthropic is doing just fine financially. Inference is extremely profitable for them with >80% profit margins. In the event of an AI crash that heavily reduces that margin, they can cut a ton of R&D and remain solvent. And remember they're renting a lot of their compute, and they can cut it off.

The road safety video was very data heavy and I generally dislike just saying "the police can't or won't enforce even the most basic of driving laws" but I mean we all know its true. You give them the mic for 60 seconds and they blurt out "shouldn't have been out for Halloween!"
