As someone who’s been friends with Haley *and* Mallory as well as having had positive interactions with Abdul during his first campaign 8 years ago (I wrote a favorable analysis of his single payer proposal; he asked me to write a review of his book), I’m honestly just exhausted by this race.

Regardless of who you supported/opposed in the primary or who you think is in the right/wrong in this latest fracas, the whole thing has been a complete shit show. In the end I still think Abdul will win by 2-3 points thanks to an absolutely toxic environment the GOP, but jeez what a mess.

Anyway, regardless of what happens, I kept my word: I voted for Abdul in the general. I raised over $34,000 for his campaign. Now I just want it to be OVER.

Honestly, all of today’s bickering aside, it’s fucking absurd that Rep. Clyburn is even seen as *needed* in MI on the final weekend when SC is competitive. If we come up just short in the state he’s actually in because a guy in the Midwest halfassed outreach to the base that shouldn’t be forgotten.
