Year three of being “the book house” in our neighborhood. Gave away 200 books, a bunch of chapter books, middle grade, and YA for the teens that came through. Makes me happier than I can say. ❤️ I also give out candy too, relax.

Watched First Contact with the 10yo last night. Always fun to revisit movies we watched when he was a bit younger now that he's getting more mature. Patrick Stewart really is fantastic in that film. The pathos is palpable.

This is pretty incredible! My wife grew up on Réunion in the Indian Ocean, her parents still live there, and somehow trick or treating has become a thing there. Her parents just sent us this clip of them giving out candy from their back yard; they live on a steep mountain with a winding road.
