@hannahmeyer09.bsky.socialThe distracting ones are just the overdone ones. The subtle ones blend in so nobody clocks them, which is kinda the point. It’s more about people going too heavy than filler itself being the problem. And if it’s HA, it can always be dissolved if someone wants to dial it back.
Show PostLol harsh but yeah, that’s what overdone cheek filler looks like, it sits too heavy and starts looking puffy instead of lifted. A little in the right place just gives some lift and balance. Good thing is if it’s HA, it can be dissolved if someone ends up with that puffy look.
Show PostDo it, haha. I have naturally thin lips too and getting HA was one of the better decisions I made. Mine look like my own lips, just a little fuller and more defined, and nobody has ever said “oh you got filler.” And since it’s HA, you can dissolve it if you don’t love it, so it’s pretty low risk.
Show PostAppreciate that filler can be used for more than just aesthetics, like helping a scarred lip sit level and look more balanced. It’s a good reminder that it can be functional and corrective too, not just adding volume. And the good thing is, if it’s HA, you can dissolve it if it doesn’t sit right.
Show PostBotched results like this almost always come down to the injector going too heavy or placing it wrong, not lip filler as a whole. Most people who get it done end up with something subtle that still looks like them. I hope she had HA though, so it can be dissolved and she can get her own lips back.
