I couldn't go stealth even if I wanted to -- I'm 6'4", everyone can tell I was AMAB. But also, and more importantly, I wholeheartedly reject the premise. It took me 37 years to claw my way out of the closet, and I am going to be loud and proud and openly trans, and fuck anyone telling me not to.

It's been slowly dawning on me over the past couple months that I think a lot of people have never met an actual trans person and can't comprehend that it's an innate part of our identities and not equivalent to "I know it's weird, but I prefer strawberry ice cream to chocolate or vanilla."
