Ok I'm struggling to find any old posts on this, so I'll just do it myself. If a sub-leaning switch is in a rare dommeing mood, don't go "Pfft, like you could ever domme anyone!" unless you are 100% certain they want you to do this!! Else you're just making sure that side's not coming out again.

And it's the same the other way around! If a domme-leaning switch is showing her subby side, that doesn't mean she is suddenly not a domme anymore! Most switches NEED both, and if they get pressured to stick to one, it's going to have a genuine effect on their confidence and mental health!
