this is already excellent and i'd add that, contra deskilling concerns, you do also get better at using a forklift by using a forklift. you would also atrophy if you *only* used a forklift and never went to the gym. you know what's cool? if you have a fixed amount of work and being good at using

This is just objectively true—people running AI locally means there’s more of a hardware demand than if it’s run through data centers. You don’t have to have any particular view of local vs cloud ai to acknowledge that one is the more efficient use of hardware.
