Conflating "there are reasons this genre has always historically allowed you to save" with a desire to cheat the game by constantly saving to get past a challenge easily is extremely not cool

It's not save scumming, don't be rudely reductive. I used an anecdote about saving to literally go take care of your children and mentioned my own interest in creating saves to mess with the mechanics. Don't be dishonest

Well, that delay was a lot shorter than I expected! My Zelda Pro Controller has arrived! It looks really nice in person. The way the green fades into the black on the back is beautiful.
