Anyway, hot take but I don't think anything in the political news will move the election by more than a few hundredths of a point at this stage. It's entertainment for nerds. The people who actually decide elections at the last minute *do not consume* this stuff at all.

Should the Times have run the story? Of course, sitting on it would be unethical. But should it be given such a spotlight when the president is running around the country demanding the midterms be stolen for his party? Or when there are new, harrowing rape allegations against Trump?
