LA TACO, a newsroom with journalists and editors from immigrant families, isn't turning their back on ICE coverage or losing touch with their communities. To make an issue about how the outlet owned by a rich white guy erases a non-white newsroom that works daily to cover LA.

My issue is how quickly people are throwing the outlet under the bus before getting the facts. It's parasocial behavior to assume one person is an outlet. There are multiple talented journalists who work there still, writing and reporting on their communities.
