Best two moths today were Psychoides filicivora and this mad looking Caloptilia. It's almost certainly semifascia, I have had the occasional one in the past like this. @dorsetmoths.bsky.social

The Hook-tip from a couple of days ago has indeed been confirmed as a Spiny Hook-tip, the first Dorset record. A shame it wasn't in better nick! I'm sure there will be more in no time. @dorsetmoths.bsky.social

Really big influx of common migrant moths at the Obs last night incl 129 Rush Veneer, 93 Rusty-dot Pearl and 78 SY (+another 19 at the ORI lure); a Red-headed Chestnut best of the rares.

30/10- just 7/7, another misty, dank night in Hunstanton. NFY December Moth* on shed & Feathered Thorn* on window. Also Oak Rustic* actually in trap, LBAM, November moth agg, RDP & E angustea around trap. #teammoth #norfolkmoths
