But what really gets me is just, philosophically, the blaring hypocrisy of it: Their machine was built by stealing massive volumes of information in order to regurgitate it slightly remixed. It's what the tech does and is designed to do. Saying "no" to this specific use case is very silly.

There's a lot that makes this absurd: prompt guidelines are pretty easy to circumvent, it's unclear if this is trying to address quick-turnaround-clones or decomps, the idea of Claude being able to determine whether something in a genre is 'original' or a clone is fraught with stupid assumptions
