Ha, that is wild. I deleted my fb account after marriage and moving, but got pulled back on during the pandemic a few years later. I was mostly surprised at how useless it had become for keeping up with people bc of all the ads and people just not posting anymore.

I learned Yiddish because a few years ago, I inherited some Yiddish books from my grandfather z''l, and by serendipity, around the same time, I saw an article about a new textbook from the Yiddish Book Center. Then I fell in love with tkhines & wanted to learn more. Don't make it about zionism.
