Not set foot in Old Trafford since the takeover. In fairness apart from catching up with mates the ground was nothing like it once was. There does seem to be a group trying to change it this last few seasons. Good on them. It was more and more filling with dick eds over my last few seasons

Couldn’t agree more, mate. But, I was mithering various folk for a brief for today. On the one hand I look at football today and think nah, fuck that. On the other I remember the magic of being a just a little part of MUFC.

You obviously still get the hard core at the matches.Many of whom define themselves by the team they follow.It's a way of life,in fact a life investment.I am full of admiration for those that still do it.For many however, even if the club does well, we've moved on.Still connected,but not ruled by it

Sad that on reflection. In a pub now with several reds. Some like me would years back have been at the game. Today like me they haven't even watched it. At the top level of football you can do little if anything to change things. Disillusioned is a good way to describe the feelings of many.
