In the '60's the section with this station stood out due it's location as one of the tricky bits to factor into the challenge of running through every LUL station in the best time. [We used to argue if it was necessary to put ones feet on every platform. We usually did.]

I thought I'd reshare this photo taken at Denmark Hill London Overground Station. Many people have said that the blurred commuter in this photo looks like a ghost or even the Grim Reaper.
