It gets better: tucked in the moratorium is language to plunder $75,000 in District 10 discretionary funds (or one-third of the cost of La Sombrita) for LAPD vice detectives. Whose fault is it exactly, Mayor Karen Bass, that the Los Angeles Police Department haven't been doing their jobs?

This is nuts because the only subway the United States has built in the past decade opened directly under Koreatown, and will connect Downtown LA to La Brea, Beverly Hills, Century City, and UCLA
