A lot of this comes down to timing but it's basically the same PP zone entry that MTL runs and it works because the second-to-last guy, and not the last guy, picks up the drop pass, which gives them two guys entering the zone with speed, a safety valve on the boards, and a dump-in option weak side

With this new entry, here is what Coronato has when he crosses the red line 1) carry himself if space opens 2) dish to the boards on his right (where it eventually goes) 3) hard rim around for Gridin (#92) 4) another drop pass to Frost (#16)

Noticed something on the CGY PP goal last night that caught my eye. They made a slight tweak to their entry that I found interesting. Notice that when Parekh makes the drop pass, it is the *second-to-last* guy back who picks it up (27-Coronato) and not the last guy (16-Frost)

Guys I’m turning off comments because three is the maximum number of times I can have a different person explain the same joke to me.
