I loved our regulars. They were so consistent that I could look at the clock and start pulling drinks before they even entered the store, that way they could pay and their drink would be waiting for them on the bar. Staff chit-chatted with regulars. That relationship meant they tipped very well.

So, I worked at Starbucks for about a year back in 2006ish. I worked morning rush on the bar, so 4a-11:30a. Most of our customers were regulars who came at the same time every day to order the same thing. 2 things about regulars: they rarely change their orders, and don't like being up-sold.
