A guy I knew who has spent most of his adult life organizing for leftist and labor organizations, told me straight to my face "artist was never meant to be a job. You gotta do something else to make money" I did laugh that his artist girlfriend heard him say that and left him like 3 days later

so they found this woman in a bog and a local man immediately confessed to killing his wife and sinking her there 20 yrs prior but it turned out the woman was 2000 yo and the guy was convicted on the strength of his own confession and i just think this kind of sisterhood across generations is lovely
