The funniest thing about experiencing Berserk for myself is that while Griffith has this reputation for being one of the greatest evil in anime, he really doesn't do anything evil like... ever.

The bad things all come after he is forced to become an ontologically evil demon and thus a different person, but like... as himself, Griffith truly doesn't do anything dramatic. I had not expected that.

It's kind of difficult to blame him for the Eclipse when a) all of human history and also he himself was engineered to make this happen but also b) even if it wasn't, All That happened first, like.
