There were scenes of Matt's abusive dad, who is played by Arron Paul, but those scenes were cut out in the final film. Shame, because his Cameo surprised me.

Patrick Stewart was my neighbor 3 doors away from the apt I lived in Brooklyn for 18 years. That’s how I knew him, did small neighborly things for each other, caught each other in pajamas in the street. He was so wonderful & fit right in. My deepest condolences to his wife Sunny, a gem of a person.
