This marks the second recent downtown building-to-surface-parking conversion I've become aware of recently. Walking to the B line after a show at the Fitzgerald last week I saw what looked like a new surface lot being constructed across from Mickeys. One step forward, two steps back.

Becerra is all but guaranteed to be governor at the head of a Democratic trifecta in 2027. Which means now is the opportunity to build the case for an ambitious agenda. The fact that he isn't doing that persuades me he has no governing agenda at all.
