Here's precinct turnout by bucket relative to 2024 for the big 5 counties. Did my best with the partisanship gradients but the vote distributions aren't always equal bc of precinct boundary changes, some of the 2024 pcts have estimated turnout, so its not perfectly exact

Talk about clear patterns! Democratic areas are voting a whole lot more in Texas. This is why I'm not particularly fussed if Dallas doesn't have perfect turnout etc If the "low" number is missing Republicans, that's even better!
