I believe that if your company undergoes layoffs during a set amount of time after a sale or acquisition, there should be some kind of massive financial penalty or forced restitution. You can afford to buy a company, but you can’t afford the staff? Then you can’t afford to buy the company.

Has anyone written anything about how (I suspect) the advent of AI answer bots has affected how people who use them talk to each other? What used to be conversations and discussions at work, more and more are feeling like some people are just putting in "prompts" at their human colleagues.
