There is an important legal distinction here: the authority to enforce the law is not the authority to assault someone. Peaceful protest is fundamentally American. Congress must defend our First Amendment rights, not excuse ICE abuse. Congress should consider defunding ICE immediately. ☮️

No, I don't recommend that, at all! That just gives these thugs an excuse. Go unarmed and just stand in front of the car. Period. Going with a gun totally plays into their rhetoric that protesters are "thugs and paid actors and violent."
