"Someone asked me, 'when will the war in Iran end?' I said, whenever I want it to end" That's not true, though. Who knows if the White House really believes this, but the reality is Iran is in the driver's seat now—Trump effectively handed them the keys—so even if he wants to end the war, he can't.

I know there's a lot going on but I feel it should probably be more of an above-the-fold story that members of Congress released a thoroughly documented report directly accusing the president of the United States of being a serial rapist.

There will be a lot of equivocating about all the times search warrants have been executed on members of Congress for corruption investigations and the like, and it can't be stressed enough in how many ways HSI raiding Ilhan Omar is extremely not like that.

This this this this. I have been saying for decades that wholesale campaign finance reform is ESSENTIAL, usually to glazed eyes in return. Our current situation owes a lot to our current campaign finance laws and workarounds.
