Size difference and opposing personalities! Personality-wise, I think they're a fun contrast. From what little we know of Muriel, she's very direct and outspoken, while Joshant is much more reserved, composed, and serious.

Zara and Zaito are both Hyu'ra (Dad M Au Ra & Mother middie) . They may look more Au Ra at first glance, but the key is their height and proportions. Zara is actually taller than the average f Au Ra, while Zaito is shorter than the m Au Ra. Zara doesn't care at all. But Zaito hates it lol

They both need reassurance that they’re not alone. Muriel has her own wounds from abandonment, while Joshant often feels like he’s too much of a burden. Sometimes they just need someone to stay and remind them, “I’m here.”
