I used to think that and still do to some extent but we’ve had a few and both MAGAs are so deeply brainwashed and convinced the other is to blame that I’m afraid it’s going to take something cataclysmic and even then I worry it could be generations to reset and we so badly don’t have time for that

Definitely fair and I used to buy into it too so I know there is hope I just wish there was a way to accelerate the deprogramming though I guess the thing that got me was spending years trying so maybe a thing to do is to encourage them to go all in because directly trying to convince them isn’t it
