Needing confirmation of my biases, those “celebrity authored” kids’ books that every late night host has for some reason are of this overall quality? Regardless they piss me off every time I see them

they also do not respect the parents reading these books aloud and i think a bored begrudging bedtime story is almost worse than none at all

they 100% do not, i think a lot of publishers just see the kids books market as an easy cash cow because kids are stupid and they know everyone always needs to buy presents for them they can feel smug about and that nobody will ever read
