Increasingly part-time comic printer (still the best tho). Increasingly full time dad/carer. S-tier trash talker. If you followed for the printing stuff get ready to see a lot about how society fails SEN kids instead. rich@comicprintinguk.com

Oh I don't disagree at all there. Especially when the EU tone is actually pretty welcoming and friendly. If the UK politicians start throwing their weight around it's not going to take much for the EU to shrug their shoulders and walk away again.
Show Post....and then they need to explain it really clearly to the public and make it clear why it's much better to be part of the EU (even if not full members) that being fucked over on the outside still. That's going to be the best way to take the wind out of Reform's sails for a start
Show PostMy incredibly ungenerous expectation is that our government will swing their collective dicks around in an effort to look tough so that when EU says we're being silly, they can reignite the "intractable EU" crap again. They'll pretend they made the effort, change nothing and blame EU for it failing
Show PostIt's always been the main issue, innit. The UK had what was probably the best deal of all EU countries, threw it away in the name of a sovereignty that most of the people couldn't even define correctly, and now shows up with a list of demands... just tradition, at this point.
Show PostPlaying devil's advocate here, one of the biggest issues with Brexit was that Cameron was so sure Remain would win he never worked out what Brexit would actually entail. if we are going to go back in in any form the politicians *really* need to know what that would be...
