So Google makes most of its money from advertising, then forced everyone to use AI summaries which destroy the use of advertising. This feels like a bakers giving out free weight loss jabs with every cake - just on a massive scale.

Sometimes - often! - fame and success seem to make people small or petty or neurotic or mean. But both these guys were men whose vibe was simultaneously "now I can do good in the world" and "Cor, I'm really rich and famous, this is fucking BRILLIANT". There's something life affirming about that.
