It’s crazy how often this shit just slips in there. Google is doing that a lot with docs and auto-correct where it’s gentrifying the prose to conform to LLMs and it’s driving me insane because it also hallucinates too.

Yeah, I spend most of my time happily in Fedora, if it wasn't for Ace Combat or this document having weird asshole Office 365 formatting or whatever that tripped out Libre, I would have known peace... But literally the AI Tools thing happened between filing my review and Now without my input.

For me the moment was when they put the old right click as a sub-menu in a new right click like a year or so ago and I was like oh yeah I gotta get outta this asylum

Just this morning I had to boot into windows to do some Office specific shit and noticed that now when I right click before any of the useful contextual menu options there's a fucking "USE AI TOOLS" tab and I had to fight the urge to throw my whole computer out of the window.
