Because half Europe still insists on negotiating with the russia. Thus force themselves into diplomatic pretzel of being nice to the aggressor. This is how you get either Syria-fication or Israel-ification of Ukraine. In words - everybody's against it. But in deeds - that's the direction.

This is another reason I am exceptionally concerned about 🇬🇧(& European) over reliance on the USA for defence. It isn’t JUST Trump, Vance, Hegseth, Witkoff, Kushner & their evident willingness to embrace illegality, war criminals & Russia. It’s that their military has been spineless in response.
