Ken Paxton is the worst state Attorney General in the United States. All opinions my own, and have no relation to my employer.

My theory is with rising interest rates there’s just gonna be less cash in general, and so frivolous spending like on influencers are the first to go. It’s amusing but it’s the story of everything. People just took the good economy for granted and did everything they can to undermine it.
Show PostSo I watched this Chinese movie about some dudes traveling back in time to kidnap Qin Shi Huang, And there was a scene where a tacticool dude waded into a bunch of fully armed Qin soldiers and started to beat them up in melee and had to turn it off.
Show PostI will say one of the big differences is it features a looooot of non-Japanese folks who all apparently speak impeccable accented Japanese. It is a taaaaaad annoying how it switches back and forth between Japanese sub or English dub. Still, having this at the hotel beats CNN or Fox.
Show PostThe documentaries are nice though. It's often subbed/dubbed NHK E documentaries, and even some original stuff that is packaged together. Often has the characteristic NHK... cringe, for lack of a better word, but it's a taste I've acquired from watching it on-and-off for 15 years. Has live sumo too.
Show PostWatching NHK world in a hotel and really wish it was more like actual NHK instead of CNN-lite with a Japanese anchor who speaks flawless American English.
