Numbers are slowing down in the moth trap now with only 4/4 moths last night in VC96. One species however made up for it! A stunningly fresh Merveille du Jour!!! 🎉 incredible patterns. A Feathered Thorn was also a nice bonus! #moths #mothsmatter #teammoth

It’s rare for me to find a moth I don’t recognise, and quite exciting! Found this Diurnea lipsiella on the road verge by torchlight. Not a lifer, but much better marked than my other record in 2019. #teammoth
