it's like everyone passes around memes and qotds but otherwise isnt too keen on just knowing each other and getting into each other's replies and saying hi for the sake of it and in turn makes me feel so strange and offputting for doing that and wanting everyone to know each other

It feels like after the move to bsky everyone got tired of the community in a sense bc of so many bad actors and tiresome events and just kind of came here to settle down and do their own thing with friends and I can't blame anyone, it WAS tiring. I do miss what was good about it a lot tho

I think the thing I miss most about the twt era was how it felt like everyone more or less knew each other and these days that feels so rare. I kind of miss when parties felt like everyone seeing everyone again instead of so many pockets of people who stay separated
