I suppose when I was a kid I mostly got them in the pool, which is not a place one can get a heating pad, but still.

I have been prone to extremely painful foot cramps my entire life, and they are particularly bad right now because of medication I’m on. Somehow never occurred to me I could put a heating pad *on my feet*, but it turns out you can and it helps a lot!
