If Scientific Reports publishes 40,000 papers per year, and if their publication fee is $3000 per paper, approximately, that means they’re making $120 million a year?! This can’t be right!

You gain daylight most rapidly at the vernal equinox and lose daylight most rapidly at the autumnal equinox. The changes in daylight become zero on the solstices. What does control the amount of daylight you get? The day of year and your latitude.
