the case for dem overperformance is the pollsters are herding and fucking with their lv models in a way that doesn’t seem to make sense, and the ev data suggests it’s the *dems* who are churning out the infrequent voters this time

think the case for republican overperformance is simply that the polls are off, but people are projecting (and inflating) trump’s overperformance in presidentials to midterms despite the dearth of evidence for it in the latter

Yes it only works if the loopholes are tightened, the current legislation is so poorly drafted it could actually make matters worse
