Fascinating. Although in truth the not viable option of the three considered is a unitary state. Too many commentators, Hugh Linehan, want to use reunification as an justification for changing to their own pet political causes. The state that exists is what the North should join (link in alt)

…actually qualifying. The UK currently doesn’t. Last but not least. Unless the sense of entitlement/exceptionalism is not eradicated there can be no place for the UK in the EU. All of this needs consensus. The UK can’t join and then leave every time it holds a GE.
