That's what I mean. The job is to force the government to make the strongest case it can, in public court, so that everyone can see that they are guilty, and that they are not being railroaded by the government.

In that case, it will have gained energy - kinetic energy. Its potential energy will be unchanged, as it will arrive at the same altitude as when it left the bow. During flight it will lose energy due to aerodynamic drag. So where do you imagine this additional kinetic energy has come from?
