If you're mad at a film for doing this stuff, it's always worth pausing to ask yourself: Am I annoyed because the movie is manipulating me? Or annoyed because it's manipulating me POORLY? Or annoyed because I don't want to feel what I'm feeling? Or am I just faulting the movie for having a strategy?

I dwell on bad things a lot so I’d like to note for the record that the weather in Ohio has been absolute perfection for a couple of weeks solid now and I love it. I’m going to California tomorrow and I’m actually a bit sad about the weather downgrade.
