When Dolly and Tim died, someone on here pointed out something they had in common: they took their work EXTREMELY seriously without ever taking THEMSELVES too seriously. Add Sir Patrick to that list as well. He was just a great, impressive figure in every way.

Y'know, it would've been more than enough for Sir Patrick Stewart to be one of the greatest actors who ever lived, but he was also really really FUNNY. He had an amazing sense of humor, and he loved taking comedic roles that juxtaposed his booming theatrical voice saying the most ridiculous things.
