Very glad that it seems broadly everyone can see the obvious scam in, "Don't buy a couple of sticks of RAM and a basic GPU! Instead, pay ME a subscription to rent access to basic computer functionality that only works when you're online!"
Show PostAbsolute lol at Altman accusing people of hoarding RAM in their PCs, as if RAM isn't overpriced and (somewhat artificially) scarce largely because tech companies bought it in bulk and are hoarding it in warehouses for data centres they haven't built yet.
