Book of the day is Jodi McAlister’s “An Academic Affair”. I loved her trilogy set on a reality TV dating show (starting with “Here for the Right Reasons”). She’s a prof of writing, lit & culture & this book is about academic rivals thru schooling & professional academia. So ready!

It is a true testament to the warmth and presence Patrick Stewart put into nearly every performance he did that his performance as Charles Xavier effectively made everyone forget Charles is kind of a big ol creep and weirdo for at least a decade or two
