A mass American protest is going to look a lot different than a French one simply due to the fact that there's more than one seat of economic and political power in the country and the capitol is up to a six hour flight away for a lot of people

French is my first language. I have French family members, what you see from miles away re: protest in the country is much more complicated and uneven than you understand.

Across this sprawling country which is 18 times larger than France, there are daily stories of protests by Gen Alpha re: ICE. Just because you don't know about it, does not mean they aren't trying where they are to register their opposition to what is happening to their peers and families.
